 2016 Easter & Spring Breaks: next year Easter occurs on March 27th and the Spring Break common calendar for Genesee County schools is from April 2nd to the 10th.  League play will open on April 11th if it corresponds to 2015.  Like it or not, all baseball team members are interconnected. Therefore, ALL PLAYERS ARE EXPECTED TO BE AT ALL GAMES AND MUST PRACTICE THREE TIMES BEFORE OUR FIRST SCHEDULED GAME AFTER SPRING BREAK.  Take a nice vacation, but honor your commitment to the team that you tried out for in mid-March.  There is a price tag for being part of a team.  Extended in-season vacations with no regards for practice and teammates undermine the very foundation of Powers Baseball.  If you disagree with the philosophy in capital letters, maybe you should look for another team--or, revise  thinking. "Yours in Baseball"--Coach Dutkowski
