Powers Concludes Finest Season in Years

Powers finished in 15th place (out of 40 teams) at the State Meet held at Oakland University.  This is the highest finish for the boys' program since 2007, and was the highest finish for any Genesee County area team in any division in 2015.

Senior David Kirtek earned All-State Honors in two events for the second year in a row.  Kirtek finished 7th in the State in the 200 IM, and 5th in the 100 Breaststroke.

Also for the first time since 2007, the Chargers had two relay teams finish in the Top-16 in the preliminaries & qualify for competition on the meet's second day.  Swimming in the Consolation Finals, the 200 Medley Relay team of Carter Friedt, Cooper Prue, David Kirtek, and Justin Tata finished 14th in the State.  The 200 Free Relay team of Tata, Tyler Townsend, Prue, and Kirtek finished 10th in the State.
