The Charger wrestling program has struggled in the last several years due to lack of numbers. Coach Sullivan has been working hard to promote the program. This seasons numbers reflect those efforts as the team is larger than it has ever been.
Last seasons highlights include a first place finish at the Pinconning tournament by senior Joe Sullivan at 189lbs. Several undefeated efforrts by Joe also made for some memorable meets. Sullivan finished 6th at the Genesee County tournament. Sullivan finished the season at 42-14 with 98 career victories for the Chargers.
Chase Ross and Nate Ostrowski were all-conference wrestlers last season and are expected to exceed last years efforts this season. Other returning wrestlers Mitch Milne and Justin Goodwin also look to improve on last years record.
