Campus
The new campus of Powers Catholic High School is located on approximately 57 acres, the former site of the Michigan School for the Deaf and Blind. The beautiful, wooded property is located immediately off I-69 from the Hammerburg Road exit.
A restored Fay Hall houses the majority of our classrooms and allows for a student body of 800. The historic building has been restored to its prime condition. The abundance of natural light and the beautiful views make for a great learning environment in our classrooms. A major addition constructed behind the former Fay Hall will house all of our other amenities. This will include a chapel, library, commons with kitchen facilities, gymnasium, and theatre. The back of our building will look out into a secluded outdoor commons that will be an excellent place for class picnics, social gatherings and recreational use.
The campus plans include the eventual addition of an outdoor science lab. This campus site also will allow for easier access to the Swartz Creek Golf Course where our tennis teams currently play and to the neighborhood where our cross country teams now run for practices. The track and field which already exists on the campus will be a distinct improvement over our current facility. This new campus is much closer to our current football stadium at Holy Redeemer and could eventually accommodate a new stadium on the campus.
